Adam Parker and Ken Rensch each started their EMS careers in rural North Dakota. Separately, they spent years working with rural ambulance services and came together to form GoldStar Solutions, LLC. Together, they have combined their deep industry knowledge to solve the most complex rural ambulance service issues. They offer comprehensive consulting, management, and education to accomplish their mission of ensuring a sustainable and high-quality ambulance system in rural areas.

R. Adam Parker
Managing Partner

Adam is a paramedic with over 15 years of experience in EMS as a clinician, educator, and manager. He is passionate about helping rural ambulance services and has the knowledge and expertise necessary to develop comprehensive solutions. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Sciences from University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Mary. He has several professional certifications, including certified medical transport executive and is a Fellow of the American College of Paramedic Executives.

Ken Rensch
Managing Partner

Ken is a critical care paramedic, educator, and leader. He has over 20 years of business management experience in addition to his 20 years in EMS. Growing up around family businesses, he developed extensive business knowledge and he has held various leadership positions in EMS.  In 2014 he combined his business knowledge and passion for rural EMS and founded Ambulance Resources, LLC, an ambulance service staffing and management company. Through his company, he has successfully led the turnaround of failing rural ambulance services to sustainable organizations. He continues to travel throughout North Dakota helping rural ambulance services find solutions to their challenges.
