Required Rural Ambulance District Formation

In 2023, the North Dakota Legislature passed a law requiring most ambulance services serving rural areas to form a Rural Ambulance Service District by June 30, 2025. Many ambulance services in North Dakota are already Rural Ambulance Service Districts, however many are struggling to understand the process and requirements necessary to comply with the law. We have been involved in the formation of many Districts over the years, and this page is dedicated to providing the resources necessary to assist ambulance services and auditors through the process.
